The Prime Minister and First Lady Have Donated to More Than 5,000 Schools

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of Education, Hang Chuon Naron, has stated that the Prime Minister and First Lady have given a lot of attention to education in Cambodia, which has helped promote the sector's development. He shared that as of 2023, the Prime Minister and First Lady have donated and provided support to more than 5,000 schools in the country.

The Minister of Education thanked the Prime Minister and First Lady for helping to build more than 5,000 school buildings with more than 20,000 classrooms.

The Education Minister shared these remarks at the closing ceremony of the Conference on Education, Youth and Sports on Wednesday, 12 April 2023, at the National Institute of Technology in Phnom Penh.
